What is Xailin Night Ointment?

Xailin Night Ointment is a type of eye ointment used to treat dry eyes by providing long-lasting lubrication. It is formulated to alleviate discomfort caused by dry eyes and is particularly useful for people who need a thicker, more viscous solution for prolonged relief.

How the ointment works

The ointment contains the active ingredients white soft paraffin and mineral oil, which create a protective barrier over the eye's surface. This barrier provides sustained lubrication and moisture to the eyes, reducing the frequency of application. The ointment forms a protective film over the eye, keeping it hydrated and protecting it from further irritation.

How to use Xailin Night Ointment

Using the ointment is simple and straightforward:

  1. Wash your hands to prevent bacteria from getting into your eyes.
  2. Tilt your head backwards.
  3. Gently pull down your lower eyelid.
  4. Hold the tube close to your eye without touching it.
  5. Squeeze a small amount of the ointment into the pocket you have made using your lower eyelid.
  6. Close your eyes and blink a few times to help the ointment spread over your eye.
  7. Repeat for your other eye if needed.

Contact lenses

If you are a contact lens wearer, make sure you remove contact lenses before applying Xailin Night Ointment and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
