Farzin Ghayedy grew up in Bolton.
He graduated from UCLAN in 2016 with a Masters of Pharmacy (MPharm) and started working as a pre-reg pharmacist in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.
Farzin then began working as a locum all over the UK, from Cornwall to Glasgow, and in various roles such as care homes, aesthetics, community pharmacy there is nowhere or no role he hasn't worked in!
Using the knowledge he gained from working in all of these different locations he decided to pursue an Independent Prescribing qualification, which would allow him to
prescribe certain medications for conidtions deemed within his compentency. He managed to achieve this qualification in 2020 from
Liverpool John Moors University.
After gaining this qualification he began working in GP practices and gained extensive experience in independent prescribing and the management of conditions such as hormone
replacement therapy, hypertension, minor ailments, and weight loss.
Beyond the pharmacy, Farzin is passionate about staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. He
enjoys practicing Jiu Jitsu, going to the gym, and spending weekends hiking. He hopes to one day acheive a black belt in Jiu Jitsu so watch this space!
