- An order is not accepted until we accept it
- Returns depend on the item and reason
- Complaints go to Daniel Higham
This list is here to help you find things. It is not a summary of your rights or ours. The numbered clauses below are what applies.

- 1.3
You can contact us by telephone on 0151 929 3130 or by email at [email protected].
2. These terms
- 2.1
These terms and conditions apply between you, the user of this website including any sub-domains unless those sub-domains have their own terms, and Hightown Pharmacy as the owner and operator of the website. Please read them carefully, as they affect your legal rights.
- 2.2
You are treated as agreeing to these terms when you first use the website. If you do not agree to be bound by them, stop using the website.
- 2.3
"User" means any third party who accesses the website and is not either employed by Hightown Pharmacy and acting in the course of their employment, or engaged as a consultant or otherwise providing services to Hightown Pharmacy and accessing the website in connection with those services.
- 2.4
You must be at least 18 years old to use this website. By using it and agreeing to these terms, you confirm that you are.
3. Your account
- 3.1
You must give correct details when you sign up. Errors at sign-up may result in your orders being delayed or cancelled.
- 3.2
Choose a secure password that you do not use on any other website. Keep it confidential and do not share it with anyone.
- 3.3
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for any activity that takes place on it.
4. Placing an order
- 4.1
You must be 18 or older to place an order with us.
- 4.2
Placing an order is not a contract to sell you the goods. A contract is formed only when we accept your order. The email you receive on completing an order confirms that we have received it, not that we have accepted it.
- 4.3
Until your order has been dispatched, we may cancel it for any reason. We will always give you an explanation where we can.
- 4.4
You must give accurate, current and complete information during the ordering process. We are not responsible for errors you make when ordering.
- 4.5
If you spot an error on your order confirmation, tell us immediately.
- 4.6
If we need more information about your order we will contact you through your order confirmation page, so keep the link to it. We may also contact you by email or telephone.
5. Identity checks
- 5.1
If your order includes a pharmacy medicine (P) or a prescription only medicine (POM), we will carry out an identity check against the home address you have given us.
- 5.2
You may have your order shipped to a different address, as long as the name on it is the same.
- 5.3
If the first identity check does not pass, we may ask you for further documents. These include, but are not limited to, a passport, a driving licence or a utility bill.
- 5.4
If we cannot verify your identity, your order will be cancelled. If we believe documents have been provided fraudulently, we will notify the relevant fraud authorities.
6. Online consultations
- 6.1
The online consultation service is owned and run by Hightown Pharmacy.
- 6.2
Our current prescriber is Farzin Ghayedy, who is regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council, Level 14, One Cabot Square, London, E14 4QJ. You can check his registration on the GPhC register.
- 6.3
If you are ordering a pharmacy medicine, the confidential consultation you complete will only be seen by the pharmacist on duty and the pharmacy staff.
- 6.4
If you are ordering a prescription only medicine, the confidential consultation you complete will only be seen by our pharmacist independent prescriber.
7. Prices and payment
- 7.1
The price shown at the time you place your order is the price that applies. Any price change after that does not affect your order.
- 7.2
All prices include VAT where appropriate.
- 7.3
You must use a credit or debit card with sufficient funds for us to place a charge against your account.
- 7.4
No payment is taken until we accept your order. Until then, a charge is placed against your account.
- 7.5
Any order cancelled by you or by us is refunded within 3 to 5 working days. If no payment was taken, this may not appear as a refund. The charge is simply removed instead.
8. Delivery
- 8.1
Delivery timescales run from the moment we accept your order, not from the moment you place it.
- 8.2
We aim to update you on your order and dispatch it the same working day. Where that is not possible it may take up to 3 working days.
- 8.3
You must order medicines with enough time for them to reach you. The process will not be sped up for any reason.
- 8.4
We are not liable for delays in delivery or for any consequence of a delay, particularly where the delay is caused by the delivery company.
- 8.5
Once the goods are delivered to the address you chose, they become your responsibility.
- 8.6
Delivery options, prices and cut-off times are set out on our delivery page.
9. Cancellations and returns
- 9.1
You can cancel any order that has not yet been dispatched, for any reason, without incurring any liability.
- 9.2
Dispatched medicines cannot be returned for a change-of-mind refund under our returns policy. Non-medicinal returns and wrong, damaged or faulty items are covered by our returns and cancellation policy. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
- 9.3
Full details are in our returns and cancellation policy.
10. Feedback and complaints
- 10.1
After you complete an order we send you an automated email asking for your feedback.
- 10.2
You can leave a public review on our reviews page, or give us feedback directly by email or telephone at any time.
- 10.3
Complaints should go to Daniel Higham, by email at [email protected] or by post to Daniel Higham, Hightown Pharmacy, Alt Road, Hightown, Liverpool, L38 0BF. You will always receive a reply within 7 days.
- 10.4
If you want to give feedback on our pharmacy services to the regulator, you can contact the General Pharmaceutical Council by telephone on 020 3713 8000, by email at [email protected], online at pharmacyregulation.org, or by post to the General Pharmaceutical Council, Level 14, One Cabot Square, London, E14 4QJ.
