Difflam Oral Rinse is a medicated mouthwash that helps relieve pain and inflammation in the mouth and throat. It contains benzydamine hydrochloride, an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent, which helps reduce swelling and discomfort.

What is Difflam Oral Rinse used for?

Difflam Oral Rinse is used to treat conditions that cause pain and inflammation in the mouth and throat, such as mouth ulcers, sore throats, gum inflammation (gingivitis), and discomfort after dental procedures. It helps soothe irritation and reduce inflammation.

How to use Difflam Oral Rinse

Use the supplied measuring cup. Rinse or gargle as shown below, then spit the liquid out; do not swallow it.

Adults and children over 12Measure 15ml, rinse or gargle for 20–30 seconds, then spit out. Repeat every 1.5–3 hours if needed.

Do not swallow the rinse.
Avoid contact with the eyes.
Do not use for more than 7 days in a row, unless advised by a doctor.

Seek advice if symptoms worsen or do not improve. Check with a pharmacist first if you have asthma, an aspirin or NSAID allergy, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Difflam Oral Rinse ingredients

Active ingredient:Benzydamine hydrochloride (0.15%).
Other ingredients: Glycerol, ethanol, and mint flavouring, which contribute to the soothing effect and pleasant taste.
