What is Difflam Spray?

Difflam Spray is a fast-acting throat spray used to relieve pain and inflammation in the mouth and throat. It contains the active ingredient benzydamine hydrochloride, which is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic, meaning it reduces swelling and pain.

What is Difflam Spray used for?

Difflam Spray is used to treat sore throats, mouth ulcers, gum inflammation, and discomfort following dental procedures. It helps to soothe pain and reduce inflammation, providing quick relief from irritation in the mouth and throat.

How to use Difflam Spray

Spray directly onto the affected area in the mouth or throat.

Age Dose
Under 6 Years old 1 puff for each 4kg of body weight, up to a maximum of 4 puffs daily.
6 - 12 Years old 4 puffs, every 1.5 - 3 hours
12 Years+ 4-8 puffs, every 1.5 - 3 hours

After use, wipe the nozzle with a tissue to prevent blockage.
Stop using the spray if prolonged stringing occurs in the mouth or throat.
If the condition gets worse, or does not get better, speak to a pharmacist or doctor.
Avoid contact with the eyes.

Difflam Spray ingredients

Active ingredient: Benzydamine hydrochloride (3 mg/ml).
Other ingredients: Glycerol, ethanol, and mint flavor, which help to soothe the throat and improve the taste.

Difflam Spray side effects
