What is Doublebase Gel?

Doublebase Gel is a moisturising treatment (emollient) used to relieve dry, itchy, or scaly skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. It helps soften and protect the skin while reducing itching and flaking. The gel is fragrance-free, non-greasy, and suitable for adults, children, and babies.

How does it work?

Doublebase Gel contains two moisturising ingredients: isopropyl myristate and liquid paraffin. These work together to:

• Soften and hydrate the outer layer of skin
• Form a protective barrier to prevent moisture loss
• Calm irritation and reduce flare-ups in dry skin conditions

How to use Doublebase Gel

• Apply directly to the skin as often as needed, especially after washing.
• Use gentle, downward strokes, do not rub vigorously.
• Can be used before bathing to protect the skin.
• Safe for use on the face and body.

Who can use it?

Doublebase Gel is suitable for all ages, including babies, children, and elderly people. It is especially helpful for people with eczema, psoriasis, or dry, sensitive skin. It can be used alongside other treatments like steroid creams if advised by your doctor.
