What is the weekend pill?
"The weekend pill" is a nickname for tadalafil, the active ingredient in Cialis. It earns the name because a single dose can keep working for up to 36 hours.
Tadalafil increases blood flow to the penis so you can get and keep an erection. It starts working in around 30 minutes and only works when you are sexually aroused. It does not increase sex drive.
Do not take tadalafil if you take nitrates or poppers.
